Best Beauty Looks From NZFW 2015

Another NZFW has flown by, and while the clothes were no doubt killer, this year showcased some amazing hair and makeup as well. We’ve rounded up our fave looks from the week to satisfy your Fashion Week beauty cravings.

Andrea Moore

All gold e’rything, and yes that includes eyebrows. Actually, the eyebrows were probably the centre point of the whole look, with gold painted brows that shimmered under Andrea’s signature sunnies. The rest of the face was fresh and simple, aside from the single gold line on the middle of the bottom lip for that extra sparkle.

ITZME

Unconventional eyeliner was a popular trend this year, and ITZME joined in on the fun with a geometric half-lined cat eye look. Paired with sleek hair and texturised ends, along with a bright hot pink lippy to inject some colour.

Frances Jerard

I adored these cute and casual milkmaid braids with a zigzag parting at the back. Very much a throwback moment to when funky hair partings were a happening thing in the school playground. With loose hair pieces falling around the face and pop of red lip colour, these models looked set for a fun night out.

Kate Sylvester

Taking inspiration from ‘Picasso’s Muse’, this makeup look was very neutral and all about that floating eyeliner. Unsure how practical this would be to translate into everyday beauty, but it sure did look hella cool on the runway!

Lucilla Gray

Another look featuring floating liner, but softer and matching the curve of the eyes, paired with peachy lids and creamy skin. But aside from the makeup, can we take a moment to appreciate these crazy cool nail art designs, which wouldn’t actually be too difficult to recreate yourself (get practicing everyone).

Ruby

Perfectly smooth skin, a pastel pink lip and messy straight bangs that were a little bit Barbie doll mixed with a little bit 60’s. The models looked strangely different with all their clipped on fringes, but it definitely added a level of cohesion and an element of fun to the whole show.
