Five Things You Need to Know About the New TANK Menu + Competition [ended]

Our favourite salad and juice bar, TANK, launches brand new menu and here are the five things every TANK lover should know!

1. Kiwi All the Way

The first TANK shop opened in Wellington in 2001.  Now, TANK is nationwide with 75 stores from Whangarei to Queenstown.

2. Raw Smoothies

The new menu, which will start to roll out across the country, welcomes raw and paleo options. Raw Plant Smoothies include:

  • Rawesome Greens
  • Berry Hipster
  • Health Nut Protein
  • Glow
  • Unbeetable
  • Smooth Havana
  • Power Plant

“TANK has always offered a fantastic range of healthy, great tasting and affordable salads, juices and smoothies, but we felt it was time to incorporate certain food trends that are here to stay,” says TANK Commercial Manager, Chris Larcombe. “We want to encourage Kiwis to ‘choose plant-based’. Customers are becoming more discerning about what they like to eat, so it’s important we have raw, paleo and free range offerings.”

Customers can now choose to swap the frozen yoghurt base in their favourite TANK smoothie for a plant based option – meaning an increased serving of fruit or vegetables for the day.

3. Your New Favourites

TANK fans can now choose from Japanese-inspired ‘Tank Tokyo’ (crowd favourite at the launch event), the ‘Vietnamese’, ‘Paleo Active Greens’, ‘Wild Child’ and the ‘Modern Caesar’. And not only do customers now have a greater choice in salads and wraps, TANK are pleased to offer free-range chicken and eggs.

4. TANK Ambassador? They got one of those, too.

All Blacks star Beauden Barrett is a TANK lover, too. “TANK has always been a favourite of mine – the salads, juice and smoothies contain the nutrition I need to perform at my best, and they taste great too!” says Barrett. “It’s also awesome to represent a New Zealand born and bred company, focused on delivering better food options for Kiwis, especially the young ones who need to learn how important it is to eat healthy.” Beauden’s favourites from the new menu include the ‘Fitness Bowl’ and the ‘Unbeetable’ raw plant smoothie.
